The mission of the Professional Association for Chair Massage Therapists (BvS) is to support chair massage therapists in professionalizing their chair massage activities and broadening their knowledge and experience. In addition to the skill of good chair massages, the chair massage therapists also have other knowledge and qualities such as communication skills, anatomy and workplace ergonomics.
The CAT is a multidisciplinary professional organization for alternative therapists. The CAT screens all registrations for competence and professionalism. The CAT works together with a disputes body recognized by the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport and the new law Wkkgz.
The GAT Disputes Committee is a Wkkgz complaints procedure for alternative therapists and their clients. With more than 6000 connections, the GAT Disputes Committee is the largest alternative disputes body in the Netherlands.
